Yard Manager

At Copper Beech Play we make nature inspired playgrounds from sustainably sourced timber for schools and communities throughout the UK. We are a family company based in south Herefordshire, with a shared passion for childhood and the environment.

The new role of Yard Manager has been created for a reliable, well organised, great communicator who likes to work outside and loves working with wood! You will work alongside the Director to co-ordinate operations at the yards, and co-lead on manufacture from green timber to finished products. The Yard Manager will operate the small sawmill and you will be competent chainsaw operator.
We will require a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
