About the Job:
We are excited to be recruiting a new member for our co-op. We are looking for someone who has experience of campaigning for social and ecological justice as part of a grassroots group. The role involves designing and delivering training and facilitation and creating resources for campaigns and co-operatives. Topics we cover include consensus decision making, direct action, anti-hierarchical organising and campaign strategy. Our aims are to help groups increase their skills, strategy and empowerment to confront injustice, and to organise in ways that put our core values of equality, freedom and solidarity into practice. It is essential that a new member is willing and able to play a role in the running of our workers’ co-op itself. That means taking part in collective decision making and strategic planning for the co-op; being open, honest and supportive with other co-op members; being reliable; and taking your fair share of the many administrative responsibilities!
