I am a practical person, an educator and facilitator by heart with a varied career including Youth and Environment Officer , Youth Arts and Media Project Leader, Vocational Curriculum development, fundraising and delivery, programming outdoor workshops for various community groups, for design, making planting and growing. Experience which has led me to spend most of my time in parks and gardens, mainly community ones since 2000. Now Chair of Appleby Edibles, Allotments and Community Garden since 2018. We have been evicted, given another garden and then the old one back, so now have 2 spaces. I have built up good relationships with Local Authorities and people interested, hoping to support local schools, Green Ambassadors and Influencers with City and Guilds Level 1 Horticulture , Design and Citizenship. I am looking to work to develop my own career too.
